The Sandpit

A brilliant piece of Stop Motion photography by Sam O’Hare. A day in the life of New York City shot from its roof tops. Shot on a Canon D3 and requiring 35,000 still images to be taken, the studio post production gives the clip these wonderfully dynamic effects that brings the whole piece together.

Sam was inspired to do this piece from watching movies such as  Koyaanisqatsi and time-lapse tilt shift photography. Put simple a work of video art.
